MULTIVAC
MULTIVAC cross web labellers are used to label packs in thermoforming packaging machines. The labels can be precisely applied to the top and/or bottom of a pack. A wide range of label formats and materials can be run. The cross web labeller is operated using the HMI of the thermoforming packaging machine.
Thanks to a wide range of equipment options, the cross web labeller can be ideally matched to the customer's requirements. All the standard printing processes for example can be integrated in the labellers. Different monitoring and inspection systems ensure that the labelling procedure runs smoothly, and that a high level of product and pack quality is maintained. MULTIVAC Track-and-Trace™ enables secure marking for tracking purposes. With the “zero downtime” function, two cross-web labellers integrated in high-output lines ensure uninterrupted labelling.
The new generation of MULTIVAC cross web labellers is equipped for the demands of today and the future. In addition to maximum operating and process reliability, the other outstanding features of this innovative model range are its impressive performance and low life cycle costs, as well as its high level of precision and flexibility.
The use of state-of-the-art communication standards such as IO-link and EtherCAT ensures they are equipped for the future.
Both cross web labellers are installed on the outfeed of the thermoform packaging machine and apply labels to the sealed packs. The CL 220 labels the tops of the packs, the CL 230 labels the bottom of the packs.
The MR615 EF is suitable for large batches and is mounted on the control cabinet of the thermoforming packaging machine, thus requiring space neither in the loading area nor in the discharge area.
The MR619 EF is suitable for frequent product changes and is mounted in the insertion area of the thermoforming packaging machine directly in front of the sealing station.
The latest generation of MULTIVAC cross web labellers sets a new benchmark: they offer a high level of output with maximum labelling quality. Their other features are ease of operation, low life cycle costs, high level of versatility, maximum safety and future-proofed.
Thanks to their modular construction, MULTIVAC’s conveyor belt labellers offer maximum flexibility for labelling a wide range of pack shapes, such as for example plastic pots, tin cans, folding cartons, tubular pouches, thermoformed packs and trays. They can also be used for labelling a wide range of printed products.
